Maintenance Tips
- Regular Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the stovetop and oven with a damp cloth. For stuck-on spills, use a mild dish soap solution or non-abrasive cleaner.
- Clean Burner Grates & Caps: Remove the burner grates and caps and clean them with warm, soapy water. Dry completely before putting them back. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush.
- Check Gas Burners for Blockages: Inspect the burner ports regularly to ensure they are free from food debris. Use a small brush or toothpick to clear any obstructions for proper flame flow.
- Oven Cleaning: Use a mild oven cleaner or a paste made of baking soda and water to clean the oven interior. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the stainless steel.
- Monitor Gas Connections: Check the gas lines and connections periodically for any leaks or wear. If you smell gas or notice damage, turn off the supply and seek professional repair immediately.
- Maintain Oven Temperature: Periodically check the oven’s temperature accuracy with an oven thermometer. If there's any inaccuracy, recalibrate or contact a professional for service.
- Stainless Steel Care: To maintain the finish, wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp microfiber cloth. For fingerprints and grease, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner.
- Keep the Oven Racks Clean: Remove racks and clean them separately. For tough grease buildup, soak the racks in warm soapy water and scrub with a non-abrasive sponge.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the range for safety and optimal performance. This helps prevent overheating and ensures efficient cooking.
- Replace Oven Light: If the oven light goes out, replace it with a compatible bulb, ensuring the oven is off and cool before changing the light.
